On the rear of the Nightwave Analog camera (CRV-500C), the status LED should be a solid BLUE.
If you see an AMBER (orange/yellow) LED this may indicate that the camera has not finished booting up the firmware properly, or there is a problem with the power to the Nightwave.
Please power cycle the Nightwave Analog camera several times in a row (pausing 4-5 seconds in between) to see if you can get the light back to blue.
If yes, please put in an On/Off Switch in the electrical lines if you don't have one already. This will allow you to turn on the all the other electronics on the boat, let the energy settle, and then turn on the Nightwave so it get a strong, steady source of 12 volt power.
The status LED can be turned off using settings in the mobile app, but we don't recommend you do this.
