Mobile App Connectivity Issues

If you are having connectivity issues with either iOS or Android mobile devices, please try the following:

    -delete and reinstall the app
    -if/when the app says there is a firmware update, please proceed with the update (microSD required) 
    -turn airplane mode on in your mobile device

    -turn the camera on and move the mode dial to WiFi/Settings and turn WiFi on
    -make note of the SSID in the Viewfinder
    -open the app and follow any instructions about allowing WiFi to turn on
    -if your camera name is not visible on the screen, tap the plus sign in the right corner and add the SSID
    -when your camera name displays on the screen, just tap it to connect

Your camera should now connect. Please restrict the distance between camera and mobile device to about 10 feet or less of unobstructed view.
